Özet
Work life is an area where unequal practices are experienced in many dimensions. The most well-known application of inequality emerges in the gender dimension. It is known that women are exposed to discrimination due to their gender in the work life and have to struggle with inequality. Undoubtedly, the reflections of this disadvantaged situation associated with gender in the work related to occupational safety and health are too important to be ignored. When the literature is examined, it is seen that studies conducted to evaluate the place of women in occupational safety and health are limited. From this point of view, although the situation of women participating in the work life in Turkey does not reveal a positive picture in terms of quantity, the issue of what the situation is in terms of occupational safety and health in such a market has been decisive in the implementation of this study. The aim of the study, which deals with the issue in the focus of gender; is to determine the status of women working within the occupational safety and health discipline. In this context, the study is a compilation, and the subject will be evaluated with secondary data and a comprehensive review of the literature. In the study, suggestions will be presented in order to take gender-sensitive steps in the field of occupational health and safety. © 2023 Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
