Özet
A compact, small, low-profile, planar, multi-band, low-cost, and easy to manufacture WCDMA antenna with 5 GHz WLAN functionality has been presented. Low-cost FR-4 dielectric loading technique has been implemented to achieve a small footprint instead of using costly ceramic materials. The electrical performance of the antenna has been studied using full-wave antenna simulations. The proposed antenna has a small footprint of 18 × 21 (mm 2) and achieves multi-band operation with good impedance matching and gain behaviour. Antenna return loss and gain measurements are currently under progress, and will be presented at the conference.
