Özet

A literary criticism is presented on the English fictional book "Liza's England," by Pat Barker. Particular focus is given to the ethical aspects portrayed in the book, including in regard to care for elderly people and in regard to depicting the history of England in the 1980s. An overview of the book's depiction of communication, including in regard to the relationship between the failure to communicate and failure to love, is provided.
