In this paper new high performance current-mode precision full-wave rectifier using the current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA) is presented. To analyze the behavior of the proposed rectifier, the frequency-dependent RMS error and DC transient value are evaluated for different values of input current amplitudes. The SPICE simulations are also included that show the feasibility to rectify signals of frequency 10 MHz and beyond with no or minimal distortion.
