The purpose of this paper is to simulate pull, push and hybrid production control systems for a single line, multi-stage and continuous production process, which is aluminium casting, in order to compare their performances where the current production control system is push system. The paper also provides an approach in constructing, hybrid system by using TSP in minimizing total setup time to obtain optimal sequence of orders.

Extension of Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov lemma to descriptor systems
Çamlıbel, Mehmet Kanat; Frasca, Roberto (Elsevier, 2009-12)This paper presents a complete analogue of the well-known Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov lemma for descriptor systems, i.e. necessary and sufficient linear matrix inequality conditions for passivity and positive realness of ... -
Robust H∞ SMC of uncertain switched systems with time delay
Lian, Jie; Dimirovski, Georgi M.; Zhao, Jun (IEEE, 2008)This paper investigates the robust Hinfin sliding mode control problem for a class of uncertain switched delay systems. A single sliding surface is constructed such that the reduced-order equivalent sliding motion restricted ... -
Algebraic necessary and sufficient conditions for the controllability of conewise linear systems
Çamlıbel, Mehmet Kanat; Heemels, W. P. M. H.; Schumacher, J. M. (IEEE, 2008-04)The problem of checking certain controllability prop erties of even very simple piecewise linear systems is known to be undecidable. This paper focuses on conewise linear systems, i.e. systems for which the state space is ...
