A substantial amount of cross-cultural research has been conducted on attachment over the last four decades. In this chapter, we will review the self-report measures of adult attachment, the Adult Attachment Interview, the Adult Attachment Q-sort, and narrative representations. Then, we will focus on some of the remaining methodological issues concerning cross-cultural studies on adult attachment.
