A Java-based, two dimensional (2D) electromagnetic wave scattering and Radar Cross-Section (RCS) simulation software, RCS2D Virtual Tool, is developed. Both Method of Moments (MoM) and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) methods are used to simulate the Transverse Magnetic (TM) and Transverse Electric (TE) polarized scattering waves for arbitrary geometries and materials under the plane wave illumination.
